It's confusing as I understand a chalet to be a wooden cottage rather than a caravan.

There are some other options for tourism=caravan_site. I think
adding cabins=yes, static_caravans=yes, caravans=no would suffice?

This is classified wrong, it would be better as residential=trailer_park
