the map misrepresents the situation on the ground. The road stretching S-E is narrow but paved with asphalt, while to the S-W, local road 59040, is a dirt road that several km in becomes twin tracks through a grassy field, passing through a minefield (the road itself has been cleared).

Molim da ispravite cestu D1. Ona se pruža od mjesta Prijeboj ulijevo preko Plitvica, Slunja, Karlovca i dalje prema Zagrebu. Desno od Prijeboja ide cesta 504 koja završava iza mjesta Ličko Petrovo Selo gdje se spaja na cestu 217. Cesta broj 217 pruža se od graničnog prijelaza sa BiH (Izačić) do Grabovca gdje se spaja na D1.

Is this connection correct?

This is a train stop "Strelište" (the stop can be seen on satellite image). It is not a train station since there's only one track. Since January 4th, trains operate (again) between Pančevo and Belgrade.
