Hi there. Please remember to connect new ways that you draw. The various Warnings shown in this changeset indicate unconnected ways.

No worries! It was all of these changeset/140245747

Hi! Please remember to connect crosswalks, sidewalks, and roads.

Hi! At the SW corner of Oswego Lake, I see what looks like a footpath that bypasses the gate on Andrews Rd. Also, Andrews is called Allen Rd by Google Maps. Do you know which is correct/current? But if that road is private property, does the property owner permit people to use it to reach the dam and points east, like Martha Road?

Hi. Do you have a source for the shape of the West Penn Pygmy Forest? I'm not interrogating; I'm just curious. I've found sources for the Spring Hill Plains and Little Pine Plains from NJDEP, but I can't track down anything conclusive for the West Plains and East Plains areas.

I recently traveled track road way/420642414 and bridge way/348447240 and fully acknowledge they are the Batona Trail, and that the BT footways do not allow bikes and horses. But since these are track roads and don't explicitly (in person signs, maps, etc.) disallow bikes and horses, perhaps we could agree on a more inclusive tagging method? What do you think?

What happened to National and Greenfield around the City Center/6 Points area? As far as I know, they're still bike routes. Has that changed?

Also updated the name of the Whitnall Loop. Milwaukee County Parks has since dropped "Park" from the former name of Whitnall Park Loop.

The OSM wiki defines sidewalks as "footpaths on the side of a road." But the Oak Leaf Trail - Drexel Connector is a "combined footway and cycleway," and should be a general path instead. Could you please change these ways back to paths? Also, this changeset has a warning that a roadway somewhere is disconnected...

Good catch. Got it fixed. Thanks!

Ways #w1163887448
and #240958564 is a roadway with two striped yellow lines and addresses for S Howell. Should it be tagged as a service road? Minor/unclassified? Should it be named S Howell Ave? What do you think?

Hi. Can you provide some more information/sources about these proposed route relations in Fitchburg (Nobel, Techlands, Fahey, etc.)? Are they official now? I ask because you tagged them as proposed 2yrs ago, and the "proposed" tag causes them to render kind of funky in CyclOSM and OCM.

136226766

Got it, so it's just incomplete, not exactly broken. I wouldn't mind if you fixed this/these yourself in the future, but I appreciate you letting me know!

136226766

Can you explain? It looks fine to me - six member ways (all outer), and one member node (label).

132078250

Please be very careful drawing ways - sidewalk way/767521370 overlaps and duplicates several other ways, including sidewalks, crossings, and roads.

Many of these sidewalks do not yet exist. Please be sure to check all imagery layers and use the Show Background Panel (Ctrl-Shift-b) to see the dates of the aerial imagery layers.

Hi there. Just curious why you're tagging sidewalks as bicycles=yes. It's kind of playing havoc with my personal bike routing in the West Allis/Greenfield area, and I can't be alone in that. Would perhaps the default Not Specified be enough?

Hi there. I don't see any cycle tracks on S 17th Ave/Bike Route 17 in Street View. Do they exist in person? Are they very new? I didn't know the city was planning to build them.

129456836

Thanks for the heads up! I'll start using bicycle_street=yes.

As far as I know, there is not yet an American consensus on cyclestreets. I've seen the tag applied to other cities in Wisconsin for greenways (roads with motor traffic, and greenway paths) and bike boulevards, so I used it here to see if/how it would affect rendering in CyclOSM & OpenCycleMap, and routing in RWGPS and BRouter.de. For what it's worth, I have never seen bicycle_road used in the cities I visit/map. Thanks for your input!
