Hi Richard, It's good to be able to talk things through. If I may first explain something, OpenStreetMap is not actually a conventional map. It is a licensed open database from which anyone can compile a map. Amazon has its own proprietary mapping software based on OpenStreetMap data, which includes GPS technology supposedly to assist drivers in finding the most efficient routes to customer locations. It is Amazon's incorrect use of OSM data for their routing algorithm that often causes problems. I can assure you that OSM always strives to have verifiable ground truth in its database that, if used properly should cause no trouble.

The track is now tagged with access=agricultural and motor_vehicle=no which means agricultural use only, no other vehicles. I've tagged the gate with access=private
and motor_vehicle=no. These tags properly interpreted mean no vehicles should approach from the A143. Lastly, is the gate locked, if so the tag locked=yes could be added to it?

Hi, Mill Road is an unclassified road ref U7063 from the B1063 to the PRoW near the gate. From there to the A143 It is a farm track designated as a Public Footpath. The above information is available on the county definitive map. The names you added are at best unneeded descriptions, definitely not formal names. Thus I've made corrections to reinstate the original data but showing the general access to the track as agricultural.

I've removed the highways Way: 1352277435 and Way: 1352277436, mainly because they duplicate existing highways and that the tag highway=road is not an OSM valid tag. Please tag the appropriate highway status tag, highway=road

Way: 1352277437 and Way: 1352277438 are clearly tracks, I've amended and joined to the highway network.

Very large area Way: 1350978574 is not a house, I've removed it.

Fields unjoined from road center lines. If you zoom right in you can more precisely draw features.

Way: Landrace house (1350978577) should be drawn round the house only. I amended areas. The same apply to Way: 1350978582, I've corrected.

Your residential areas Way: 1350978575 and Way: 1350978576 are drawn within an existing residential area so duplication, which I've removed.

Farmland fields like Way: 1350978584 should be drawn around the field only, not to include other areas. If they have to include other areas then you should make multipolygons. Much easier to make small areas of single fields. I've corrected this area.

Please take a bit of time to find out OSM best practices of mapping. Need any help please just ask.

Yes could be, I was having problems uploading this morning. Then went on to look at other things. Kept trying to upload then everything went at once. As I recall there weren't any conflicts so I take it all was OK as far as the data was concerned.

Hi, Firstly anything added to OSM must be verifiable. OSM verifiability is explained here:- osm.wiki/Verifiability

In summation, anything added to OSM must be on the ground truth and physically verifiable at the site.
