In this changeset the way has been converted from a building with a liquor store into empty retail land, but still has the detailed shape of the building and contact information of the liquor store:

Oh yep, thanks, also reverted now. And that one contains the real Corliss Ave so probably the beginning of the problem.

Ah, I didn’t download the relations so JOSM never knew I was breaking them. I’ll see about repairing the splits…

Hmm, thanks. I used JOSM’s split way function which I thought preserved relations, but perhaps I’m misinformed about that.

Is the outdoor seating area at Jellyfish Brewing gone?

Several of these were wildly misplaced and already existed in the correct location. I’ve deleted them.

Thanks, I should have said angles or degrees of rotation. What I mean to distinguish is using the planet’s axis vs. the road as a frame of reference. I read the wiki to say that the direction of a stopping point in the road is given relative to the road (highway=stop#Direction), the direction of a stop sign mapped as a node of the road also is given relative to the road (traffic_sign=*#As_part_of_a_way), and the direction of a stop sign mapped separately is given relative to the planet’s axis (traffic_sign=*#As_a_separate_node).

Osmose is currently flagging highway=stop + direction=[number] so I’d like to change either Osmose or the map. Perhaps you can weigh in here? https://github.com/osm-fr/osmose-backend/issues/1392

Are you sure about using cardinal directions on stops? On the wiki I see direction=forward or backward.

I think the way it is now is pretty good, an informal dirt footway.
