Do Jordan Hill and Lakeside constitute neighbourhoods in their own right? Property sites seem to think so.

Suburb node "Cutteslowe" node/14191310 within suburb relation "North Oxford" relation/13046270 (which has a proper label node of its own). The hierarchy's gone a little odd if that's happening.

Idk if North Oxford should encompass Oxford North. Should Wolvercote contain Wolvercote Cemetary?

Perhaps Summertown, Sunnymead, and Cutteslowe should be promoted to suburbs (ideally if we can figure out the boundaries - Cutteslowe should be easy, given its history)

Or should Cutteslowe be downgraded to an OSM quarter?

North Oxford golf club to close and be redeveloped as housing in late October 2025 (h/t to the Oxford Clarion again!)

Submissions to Cherwell District council show the redevelopment covering the entire area:

https://www.cherwell.gov.uk/site-search/results/?q=PR6b

The wider aspects of the Cherwell Local Plan 2011-2031 are summarised in the first result, "PR6b Land West of Oxford Road Development Brief Cherwell District Council August 2022", and that's well worth a look too. However, this OSM note is just about the immediate aspects of the golf club being shuttered soon: "disused:" prefixes for all the buildings, holes and fairways, I guess. Won't be a building site for a bit, I imagine.

Address interpolations cannot run along the outside of a building, and these addresses will not work correctly. These need an interpolation way instead, leading from somewhere near the main entrance to "inside", away from the main entrance to convey corect meaning, if we can't go inside and find where all the corridors and staircases really are :)

Separate stairway-exclusive address ranges work similarly, if there's an external door to the siaircase.

See Cooper House and Marina House for how it's supposed to be done. Since these are street addresses, not flat addresses, the house name is unneccessary for the address. The only alternatives is addr:place and addr:parentstreet, but that's very counterintuitive. It is sufficient if all the addresses as interpolated are within the building outline.

addr:housename has the same level of meaning as addr:housenumber. It is not subordinate.
