To be fair, our sole North South Expressway E1 is not that far away the Federal Route 1, so (faster) traffic flow is more likely on E1 than 1.

I've left some (long) stretches of Federal Route 1 as highway=trunk because slightly controlled access - which means, there's a long divider and there are not much houses on both sides of the road.

My tagging practice may not follow historical reasons/background. I mean, following your way of thinking, then the former North South Expressway stretch, now officially a part of the Federal Route 1 (from osm.org/go/4Gs4kLL?m= to osm.org/go/4Gp9lOq?m=) should be a highway=expressway too.

Some roundabouts are mapped as a relation instead, because of this particular reason.

Hi, could you please just not simply merge a "split" roundabout in this city please? I have mapped a public bus route, so roundabouts have to be split to indicate route.

Yeah, there would be consequences especially for ride-sharing for-profit organisations, but let me know if routings started not making any kind of sense.

It should be a lesson for these organisations to actually perform optimisations on their side too.

Left a discussion on the edit, because there is a suspicion that an external, proprietary map data is used to make such changes. Alas, it remained a mystery.
