I salute your team's work on adding unmapped roads through remote mapping. Not everybody has the time doing that, including myself.

Hopefully your team might take extra precautions - not overwriting someone else's effort in order to put more things on the map.

Since your team is editing with JOSM, take some time to inspect history of road geometries (Ctrl + H). If it's quite recently mapped (e.g. probably up to 2 years ago by an active local mapper), just try contacting those related users to get an idea why and to inform that changes would be made (and state the reason why).

That semicolon (;) is necessary to add another name.

In real life, if you travel northwards, you won't go to the services on the opposite side of the journey.
