Routing seems to very often avoid this intersection for no good reason. Mapping from Sayers' Common (south) to Burgess Hill (East) often goes to the next intersection (Bolney) and then loops back - an extra few miles!

The aerial imagery shows bus/taxi only, but there is no motor_vehicle=no here.

Should that apply to both directions?

Northgate or North Gate?

There should be a pedestrian bridge over the Witham leading from the end of Five Mile Lane (which joins Heighington Fen at its other end) and continues along the road which forms a T-junction at Ferry Road. This is not on the Open Cycle Map.
