Please could you use a changeset description rather than a . please.

Can you please stop re-mapping the cycle lanes which are already CORRECTLY mapped.

91119981

I have already added the cycle lanes in changeset/91104280. It would be appreciated if you didn't just remove the cycleway tags from the main carriageway that I've added to just an incorrect cycleway way beside the road. I'm going to have to redo it correctly again.
Please read:
cycleway=lane

Yes there are bollards which are "physicals separation", however bollards do no prevent cyclists from switching between the lane and rest of the carriageway, as such should be mapped as part of the main carriageway.

Okay, probably the best option.

Whats the status with the bus gate along Broadbridge way?

I've looked into the new A22 orbital/ring road online and I can only find that a certain part of it is entering construction soon and that at the moment the rest of it isn't funded and more in a "proposed" situation.
For this reason the parts that are not under construction at the moment should be mapped as highway=proposed
sections that are in construction can also have construction=motorway, as this will give them their magenta colour on the map rather than the grey.

see link below for more detail on the mapping standards for roads in construction.

So at the moment the road is closed between March and August (maybe later) due to construction works for the A15 Lincoln Bypass. Beyond the last house the road is closed, however there is still access for pedestrians, cyclists and maybe horses too, however here they share the main road as the pavement is part of the road way (and the pavement is extremely narrow under the bridge) - for this reason I've mapped the access as it is currently. Beyond the bridge the diversion for peds, cyclists use a temp path beside the railway embankment.
Max height is:
4.6m
15'3"
As the area is under construction still, the speed limit isn't clear, however there may be a chance that it would be reduced from 40 to 30 between the new roundabout and the current 30 zone. (the whole area between the roundabout and village has street lighting & cannot see any signs saying otherwise)

heres a video of going through the area if it clears things up a bit

On the Eastern approach to the railway you have moved the traffic lights to node/7747294016, while before it was on one ~20 metres to the East.
I cycled through this 4 days ago and it has not moved back to its pre-2018 position

I've had a look at some footage of this road I took last week and there isn't any path on either side of the B2112 between Fragbarrow Lane and the roundabout with Folders Lane. I'd suspect you are mapping the verge of the road that does appear to have been treaded down a little, however this should be mapped as a tag of the road.
The majority of routing software shouldn't mind using a secondary road for a short distances, and by adding extra paths it makes it more confusing for those trying to follow the instructions. Also the verge is nearly non-existent over the bridge.

Does this cycleway attach directly onto the Road?
Or does it attach onto the path by the bus stop (way/809545960) - The path is current mapped as construction, however I believe it has been constructed. Also is the cycle way a shared or segregated for pedestrians, also adding the surface to it would be useful too as cycle routers depend on it heavily.

That's all alright. I'm planning on driving past it in about 2 weeks time. I'll stop by it and see what state the road is in. Even if it looks complete from aerial imagery, it might still be missing things light street lights & signs with just posts and wires coming out of the ground. The whole upgrade isn't due open until Winter 2022/23, however this bit and the new junction may open before the rest of it.

Kind Regards,
Thomas

The name tag is for use of the Path's or Track's actual name, if it has one.
For public footpaths use designation=public_footpath rather than name=public footpath.
Also having Horse=no and Bicycle=no is only if it is explicitly bans those modes of transport, rather than showing there isn't a public right of way for those modes of transport.
If there are any questions feel free to PM me.
It may be useful to look a the UK tagging guidelines page on the wiki osm.wiki/Access_provisions_in_the_United_Kingdom#Public_Rights_of_Way

Wondering why you have changed a section of the Grantham Southern Relief Road from Construction to Trunk.
As far as I am aware, none of it is open in any capacity (except the short part off the roundabout to connect to properties)
If the road isn't open and under construction (even if that isolated section is structurally complete) it should be marked as highway=construction & construction=trunk

Don't really think that "highway=unclassified" is suitable for this or the other entrance road.
Unclassified typically means it is a public road, that is a through route or leads to multiple destinations.
This road just appears to be leading to a school, and as such would be better suited as "highway=service", previously it was marked as "highway=track" and "tracktype=grade1", which does mean fully paved, so wasn't incorrectly mapped.

Also it appears to be a public bridleway so should also have "designation=public_bridleway"

When questioning the existence on an object, please use fixme=query not name=query. name is strictly only used for the name of the object, not its purpose (description=)
way/816189834
name=*

Is way/816184926
The same bridge as way/810292755
Just doesn't seem very feasible that there are two cycle bridges that close apart. And is the name=Cycle Bridge 1 and name=Cycle Bridge 2 what they are actually called, or would it be better is they were tagged as ref or description?

Please keep changesets to a single location. If you make edits in multiple locations far apart it appears in the history for the area in between, so it looks like this edit covers the majority of Africa, Europe & and the Middle East

I highly doubt that this is a real highway.
If it is a highway that is likely to be built but construction hasn't yet started please tag with "highway=proposed" and "proposed=motorway"
If construction has already started please tag with "highway=construction" and "construction=motorway" - assuming it is inline with the motorway classification in US highway's tagging guidelines
