You have given the new road the class of "secondary"
I believe this is a mistake, according to its construction tags it is meant to be unclassified.
In the UK Secondary must only used used for B class roads, however exceptions can be used.
Also you used the link variant, which is for primarily used for slip roads/ramps that link two larger roads together, and not for a road that links two parts of the same road together.

All looks okay now.
However 1 thing. Junctions are still "motorway_junction", which is actually existing on the all the A14 numbered junctions. Maybe these should just be junction=yes and (for example) name=Ermine Street J23 ???
OSM does say it's normally for Motorway, but can be applicable for Trunk.

Although buildings are meant to be buildings and not room, there isn't too much issue with the naming of buildings you have done.
But "Path To 3G" and "Run Up" shoudn't be tagged with that that.
See osm.wiki/Naming_conventions

Those buildings were actually the new ones that were going to be built there....

This doesn't look right.
Are you sure this way is real, and if so is an actual "motorway"
In the unlikely event that it is, please use the "bridge=yes" or "tunnel=yes" tags.

Since I've had no reply. I am reverting this change back to how it was.

Hi there, you changed the classification of the A39 between J23 M5 and Street.
This is very unexpected, may I ask you double check this change as I believe you may be misinformed in what the requirements for UK road tagging are.
Confusionaly, a tagged "trunk" road doesn't have to be a "trunk" road as classified by UK legislation, but rather have "primary route" status. This is easily checked by if the signs along its route (not signs pointing off the route) have a green background. If they do it is more than likely to be a primary route. Local councils can change primary route status, but not necessarily update road signs.
May I ask that this is reverted to trunk, and further ask the local council (normally via a FOI) whether the A39 stretch in question if primary or not.
If you would like me to change it back, just say and I'll be more than happy

I know that this is an old edit. But is there a reason why you made the entire development at Sandrocks residential.
I did a survey a couple of days ago and a 1/4 of it is still under construction.
I've updated it to reflect the current situation.

Is this the current layout of the A23 (and surrounding road), or is this what the outcome of the changes will be?

Please check what should be added to the map and the correct tags to use. I've removed the markings as they are not standard in aeroway=*?uselang=en-GB

Welcome to OSM MrJeeves, I see you have added some houses in Lindfield. Great job! However when adding buildings please ensure that they are square. You can do this by pressing "s" when you have the object selected in the ID editor.
Also if the houses on a street are all the same size and orientation, you can just copy and paste the object, that way it all looks neat.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, you have seemed to of removed the oneway tag to the start of the Northbound carriageway

67816235

In the UK, roads with 'Primary Route' Status are given the 'Trunk' highway type. Primary routes are those with Green Signs with Yellow text and this sort section of the A259 has got it, other parts of the A259 have also got this delegation but not the entire route. Primary route A roads are normally dual carriageways (like the A24), but don't have to be (such as most of the A272). Non-Primary A roads (signs are white with black text) are given the 'Primary' Highway type.

Hope this clears this confusion up

That must of been a mistake.

Since I got no reply i'm going to revert it back

Regarding you changing the A270 from Primary to Trunk link on near Falmer.
I'd say that it was correct before you changed it. Could you justify why you think it should be trunk_link and not primary or revert it.
Thanks,
Thomas

Currently adding C routes in West Sussex and noticed that this road is marked as Primary even though its not A road.
Following the guidelines i'm changing this to teritorial. I would agree that it should be more than that, maybe secondary but its not a B road.

Nice addition with the bunker. But is Military the best attribute?
Maybe something like memorial or museum is more appropriate due to it not being used for military purposes anymore?

True.

Really?
I know school is boring, but this change ain't helping anyone.
