yeah sorry

The temp limits would be in place for as long as the temp slip road is there. The temp slip road took a few weeks of investigations and 3 weeks to construct, so I'd imagine it will be there (along with lower speed limits) for a while - likely 6-18 months.

No worries Matt. I think some parts of Horsham are still slightly off, but most of it should be aligned now

Hi Mike, is this new road fully open to the public yet, or are parts of it under construction?

Hi Laura,
I think that Kilnwood Lane was map more correctly before the change.
Whilst most of it does have a similar appearance as a public road, it is infact a public bridleway with vehicle access only for the properties which border it.
Plus, a grade 1 track is a track with a fully sealed surface, which fits the definition of this Lane.

Jarv

Hiya. I've seen you split the A6 in Loughborough centre into a dual carriageway. Last time I went through here it was a single carriageway, can you confirm that a central barrier or kerb has been placed down the centre of the road for its entire length between Leicester Road and Baxter Gate please

Hi Falsernet.
I removed the expressway tag along this section of the A24 as it doesn't meet standards to be called an expressway. Expessways should be used for roads which are basically a motorway, but aren't designated as one. This section of the A24 (like the majority of the A24) does not meet this standard. The A24 here lacks hard strips, has bus stops, as parts with direct field or even property accesses, does not ban pedestrians or cyclists (in fact you often see cyclists using this road). This road should only have dual_carriageway = yes tags, and no expressways tags

Hi connersx and thank you for your edits to Open Street Map. I see you have been adding some houses to the map which is great, but some of them aren't squared. When adding new houses, when they are selected in the editor, press the "Q" key and all the corners will snap to 90 degrees.

Hi Nathan, sorry didn't see these comments earlier.
w/154277741 put as NSL as there are no signs or street lights. One end does seem to connect to 50mph, however just seems to be terminal signs are missing.
w/973553914 being 30mph because there are street lights and no signs saying its NSL
w/46463934 would be single carriageway as the A24 here is just two one-way roads splayed apart, rather than a dual carriageway as there is a significant amount of non-highway land between the two roads.

Hi Florian yeates, welcome to open street map! I see in this change set you've mapped out some houses and buildings in Plaistow, when adding things to the map they need to have the correct tags on them so the map knows how to show them. It looks like you've mapped the buildings but they have no tags on them so they don't show on the map. If you select the buildings in the editor and then select that they are buildings, or houses then that would be great.
Happy mapping, Jarv

Hi Ravi18, you've requested a review on this change. Looks fine. However you can press "Q" once you've drawn the shape to give it 90 degree angles. Also the building could have been tagged with "house" instead of "yes"

Hiya, could I get a response to my comment. cheers

Hi Tony.
So on OSM things are mapped as they appear. So if it looks like a track, it is a track.. Access tags and other information can be added show routers (like Komoot) know what paths & tracks different modes of transport can use.
So for this track I'd recommend that it is:
highway=track
agricultural=yes
bicycle=permissive horse=permissive
foot=permissive
motor_vehicle=private
and then you could remove the "access = no"

There are loads of different access tags you can add depending on the situation - access=*

If you have any issues let me know!
Happy mapping!
~Thomas

Hi Pawelaa,
I've been through here recently and the A96 is not a dual carriageway. I edited this road, and some others in the area to a single carriageway. Wondering why you have edited it back to a dual carriageway?

Hi!
I see in this changeset you've changed a track that runs beside the A24 to a path. From imagery this looks like it is wide enough and used by motor vehicles, rather than just as a path for pedestrians. Please confirm if this is a track or path
:)
