Hello,
It is signposted as a public bridleway which is why I added that designation.
I have asked the question of @jordan8396 as to the reason for changing both from bicycle=yes, foot=yes to others but as yet haven't had a reply. I didn't want to change it back to what I had previously marked it as without first asking the person that made the change as to why they did this.

Hello jordan8396, You appear to have changed the access for the North Wall for cycles and pedestrians to:
bicycle=destination
foot=designated.

May I ask why, seeing as this route is designated as a Public Bridleway I would have thought this was better
bicycle=yes
foot=yes.

I've never heard or that however the page you’re referring to is useful.
"...every small and insignificant object..." I wouldn’t describe something that can save a life in this way, not ever! Similar to defibrillators.
Please Help me here, why on earth map something that does not show up?
Why have tags etc.

OK
Looking at it again, now I have a little more time. It could be I placed the amenity tag in there so that it shows up on OSM, ClclOSM etc. Currently they are not showing on my OSM, ClclOSM, Cycle Map they don't even show up on Open Sea Map, which I would expect them to.

I guess I was following guidlines from a wiki tag 'how-to' If you feel this is wrong please change/delete as required. I honestly can't remember to be fair.

Yes, my bad
man_made=quay is correct, please feel free to alter any of these you find.
The system I was using at the time always started sentences (and some other items) off with a capitol letter, missed this one, sorry.

Hello user219 - I'm afraid this is not a 'post_box' you’ve identified here. It’s a drop-off/collection point for the postman to collect late sorted mail (not for public use). In order that he/she doesn’t have to go back to the sorting office to pick them up.

Okay, thank you for that.
Should I remove the 'm' if I see it?
The width info was already there in this case. I often see the 'm' I adjusted the cycleway to reflect the fact that it moves from road to path or vice versa and in some cases does not exist

Also changeset/89541768

This is a footpath only and cycles are not signed or legally permited.

Thank for that, good to know. My first steps at using JOSM to edit instead of a browser, so I’m just feeling my way. It’s completely different.

Hi, Thank you for your guidance Bernard.
I believe I have ammeded this as you have suggested. Tis tricky.

Hi, sorry about that, it looked fine to me here. I clicked on the path in order to extend it rather than the style, taking the path through (I thought) the style.
I do wonder how you can see such details?
I am editing via my browser (Firefox) ATM. I would like to get this right.
Thank you for pointing this out and changing it BTW
Regards Tom.

Hello, Yes it does.
I've added a section of footpath to reflect this. Thank you

Hello, Yes it's the same bridge that supports the road (and the cycleway on the other side of the road too). I have tried to add a bridge to cross the dock but it wont let me add it to only this place, it makes the whole section (Westgate - Lockhill) a bridge.
When I search for 'bridge' I only get bridge support and bridge structure, not bridge.
I've had another go at this, this morning. I think I've found that you have to 'split' the track first, then make this piece a bridge. If this is wrong please let me know. Thanks

Thank you, I've looked at the link regarding tags, it says "name=* - Name (in full) of the route" so I am a little confused here. However I have made an adjustment in the way you suggested I think. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "ways" I assume it's the type of road/path etc. I chose Cycleway because that's what it is.

Thank you. I added the underpass because the track north and south of the A180 did not appear to be joined, stopping short on bothsides, with no visable link. Sorry
