So, I added 2 roads to OSM, hit the validate button, on OMG,
1 Duplicated Node,
2 Untagged ways,
1 Node with same name,
10 Unamed ways,
and only 255 Crossing ways.
Some times I just feel like mister fix it.

i downloaded MKGMap to convert OSM to Garmin IMG files.
the file name is mkgmap-latest.tar
I unzipped the rar file found no launchable application.
call me stupid but how do we run this application?
It occurred to me that Menorca vanishes after zoom z6. The coastline has been split. Let's see what happens...
Hi everybody GPS-Freaks!

Hi everybody,
after I heard of OSM I instantly became an addict. Before I was geocaching (one of the first in Germany). I added the first 100 nodes and ways and everything runs ok. The tiles aren't updated often enough for a beginner to see his results but I installed KOSMOS and plan to have my own render rules which I might publish. I own a Garmin etrex legend HCx and promise to use it for the right thing :-)
Mostly I use josm with added photos but occasionally I change to the web front end because of the satellite images.
I started with some tracks in the fields, mapped a village and a park. Let's see what is the most fun. For me it's best that I can do it where I want and when I want.
I also peeked into tile rendering but I suppose my compute power will not be sufficient to make a difference ;-)
Mark your waypoints!

OK, so the aerial map on osm for the region of Śrem is way of, I needed to correct way 310 from Śrem to Czempiń with some GPS data I gathered today while working. My bike is still undergoing some repairs, they don't go as fast as they should, but ENOTIME here, so mapping of Śrem has to wait a little bit...
Hello Everybody,
after i read a lot about the OpenStreetMap Projekt, especialy on heise-news I joined tody.
A few weeks bevor i just bought a Garmin forerunner 305 which ist GPS an heartrate enabled.
Right before i just used it running through the forest but today I first used it passing the our village.
You kan see my work first steps in Karlsdorf-Neuthard (OT Karlsdor), Germany which ist completely unmaped at the moment. It ist rihgt next to Karlsruhe and Bruchsal.
I hope I further can upload more Data an support the Projekt.
Greets,

Allo.
Je vais ajouter un tracer, celui du chemin st-edmond qui relie la 132 à causapscal il n'existe sur aucun logiciel de carte comme mapsource, city select north america, street and trip de microsoft et autres.
I changed my home-street "Benediktusgasse" from straight to bend.
Now it's more detailed.
Heading out to make my first set of traces.
Hinzugefügt: Schafberg (Fußweg südlich)
Hinzugefügt: Am Berg
Hinzugefügt: Oppelstraße (westlich)
Hinzugefügt: Morgenröthe
Hinzugefügt: Fußweg Morgenröthe - Pesterwitzer Straße (südlich)
Hinzugefügt: Namen an einigen Straßen
Hinzugefügt: Schafberg (südwestlich, Straße)
(Wurgwitz)
Corrected Melvin street - it's a dead end, not a through way. Google gets it right, Yahoo doesn't.
TODO - get GPS location of actual end of street.
Corrected name of Tidd st.
the last one did not conatain the map... so, I try to get it included this time.
My first contribution was adding this recycling icon in Bad Vilbel/Dortelweil.
Let's see what comes next.
motorbike tracks
- add some missing major roads in the Noorderkempen and between Turnhout and Geel / Herentals (first time the weather is nice. Should be a 250 km motorbike trip to make the bigger roads complete)
- add some roads in the Ardennes. Openstreetmap is still quite 'empty' there and most of the major roads are missing.
locally
- add the area of 'Kiel' and 'Hoboken' in Antwerpen. On the areal pictures there is a big cloud over this area, and that's why it is missing in openstreetmap :-)
- finish the 'Middenvijver' park (probably with the mountainbike, as the dog is getting too old for very long walks)
- some assistance in the area of Turnhout, as it is my birthtown and i lived there for many years.
Locally
Living in the city center of Antwerpen I started around newyear 2008 with mapping most of the northern part of the old city center (between Leien and Schelde, north of Meir). A 'piece of cake' as I know most streets from walking around my area, and areal coverage of Antwerpen is perfect.
Motorbiking
While riding the motorbike I try to combine it with tracking. This is mostly limited to the 'big roads', but early 2008 the area between Antwerpen and Turnhout was mostly a blank spot. Most of the major roads in between now are mapped, some are still missing.
I try to do this on holidays too, but the opportunities for this are getting rare, Openstreetmap is improving fast. Tracks from my last years Dolomites trip were still completely in a blank area, so were usable to add some pass-roads, tracks from this years (may) Toscana trip were almost all already on the map! Things seem to go fast, but that is good.
Dog walking - bicicling
Smaller roads are done walking the dog, or riding the bicicle. The newly constructed park on the Antwerp left bank (Middenvijver) was partly mapped while under construction. As it was under construction it was possible to track some of the lakes, including places that have become islands now and have become inaccessible.
Added most of the residential roads in Victoria Point. Did some parks and wooded areas. Fixed coastline in places.
