I've just gotten into OSM in the last couple of weeks. Since I live in Hillsboro I've been working on streets around Hillsboro: making corrections from TIGER data and adding new construction. I've been using Potlatch, but played around a little bit with JOSM.

I've been using Washington County's GIS system for info: street names and routes, as well as eliminating private streets. I would really like to find a way to overlay arbitrary images from this or other GIS systems onto the editor. Anyone know a way to do this?

I'm working on mapping Zagreb, but I see there's lot of job left to do to map Zagreb completely. Hope I will have more time in the future to finish what I've started.

I've been playing with making a 3D model of the piste data I collected at Isola 2000 ski resort. Taking the GPS tracks that include elevation data and combining them with the ways that I plotted into OSM I've written a little application that will render the resort as a 3D image that can be rotated, zoomed etc. Still a work-in-progress and unlikely to every be generally released, but I'm having fun making it.

Well, almost - a couple of tiny roads in West End (out from the main town) aren't done. But everything else is. Coupled with messpert's amazing work in Witney and the usual suspects around Woodstock et al, West Oxfordshire could be complete before too long...

Lots of gpx uploads and fixing in the main roads, usually traced very roughly and now adjusted to the gpx track. A-1, A-2, A-6, N-I, N-II and the traversal A-231
Still a track near Vitoria is marked as N-I trunk instead of a double way motorway A-1
Also some pending tracks near Valladolid.

Definitly is needed to add the source tag to know the fiability of the tracks

Yesterday another tour by bike to complete the village of Rußheim - again, bad GPS reception, so the data may be a little inaccurate. Now all villages north of Karlsruhe up to Rußheim are complete :-) - GPX-Track: osm.org/user/flschm/traces/82721

A few days ago, I started mapping lakes in the Gothenburg region along the Swedish west coast. The goal is to map all of the ones present in the Yahoo hi resolution imagery in the next few months.

Yesterday a little bicycle ride to complete Rußheim / Dettenheim north of Karlsruhe. Experienced some GPS problems due to cloudy sky. Rußheim is mostly done now, only some streets are missing. Track: osm.org/user/flschm/traces/82310

Been tidying up the horrendous rendition of the Garden State Parkway in new Jersey, so far only got as far as Exit 130 (US 1). Previous rendition gave the Parkway too few carriageways north of the Raritan River and was set too low of a highway classification southward.

The town of Hessle in East Yorkshire, UK has had a first pass completed. There's always more to add, especially detail of shops, but streets are mapped and named and main amenities added.

I've got http://openpistemap.org in a vaguely working state, but it still needs a *lot* of work. At the moment it is only rendering data in the Verbier - Zermatt region and won't automatically render new data.

I've had a go at setting up a contour map on it as well, but so far haven't had much success... generate_tiles.py chucks up lots of "proj_init_error:failed to initialize projection with:+proj=latlong" after working through most of
osm.wiki/index.php/Contours_on_the_Cycle_Map, so that's something to continue fiddling with tomorrow.

Correction to Beaumont Ave - show break correctly

Corrected issue with Superior Ave at Clairemont Ave - cars use Michigan, cycles may still use Superior.

Nachdem heute mal wieder schönes Wetter war, mit dem Rad an Ehmen weitergearbeitet. So langsam wird es vollständig, auch wenn die südöstlichen Teile noch fehlen.

about half of my hometown is now on openstreetmap, really nice to see
